Gustavo Trigos

I'm Gus, a tech entrepreneur and engineer based in San Francisco, California.

I'm currently a Sr. AI Product Manager at Nuvocargo, a YC and QED-backed logistics scaleup, where I focus on building AI systems for global trade and supply-chain automation.

Previously, I was the CEO & Co-Founder of Mentum (acquired by Nuvocargo in 2025), a Google and YC-backed startup that built AI agents to automate source-to-pay workflows for supply chain teams. At Mentum we raised $4.2 million and started as an API that embedded investment services into financial institutions before pivoting into supply chain.

Before Mentum, I worked as a Quant at BlackRock's Quantitative Investment Group and as Lead Data Scientist at Newday Investing.

Born in Colombia, I grew up across different countries, taught myself to code in high school, and have been building ever since.

Outside of work, I'm an endurance cyclist, curious reader, and long-time student of history, geopolitics, and investing.
